Running a small business is ALOT of work so it is those moments that make you smile that are a wonderful reminder of why you do what you do. In early December we received a phone call that a photographer wanted to do a photo shoot for 5280. They specifically wanted to shoot our Pecan Caramel Bars. We said "Sure". Thank you to Amanda, Sarah and Laurie as the photos and review are just perfect and more than make me smile.

Stellaaaaaaaa!

Our latest tasting was all about the desserts. The Dessert Bar showcased our Pecan Caramel bars, Brownies, Elegant Raspberry Cookies, Colorado Cherry Pie, Chocolate Chewy Ginger Cookies and English toffee set off beautifully with a dramatic black and white linen affectionately called “Stella” by Chair Covers & Linens. We offset some of that drama with playful flower arrangements by the endlessly creative, Plum Sage Flowers.

Maybe it was the black and white theme shot with bright splashes of orange, pink and green flowers, maybe it was how Peter Holcombe framed the shots and captured the evening, maybe it was the champagne cocktails. Whatever it was or maybe it was all of those things - everything looked so very special.

Living the Sweet LIfe on CBS's Morning Show!

For the past few months, we've had the pleasure of being a stop on Chelly's Denver Gourmet Walking Tours! (Scroll down to our Nov 18th blog for more info!). 'Tis the Season

Life has been very busy here at Living the Sweet Life.

From Thanksgiving to Hanukah, Client gifts and Christmas - we've been blessed with abundance this Winter! Thank you to everyone for thinking of Living the Sweet Life and including us in your special holiday plans.

This week, we've been so excited to welcome so many of our regulars - and their kids! With school on break, many of our regulars have had the chance to bring their kids in and introduce them to our special shoppe. We couldn't be more flattered!

We recently had a great night with the ladies of Anna Be. Anna Be popped the top at their new location in the lower Highlands. Their beautiful new space is ideal for finding that perfect gown for your special day.

We were excited to provide the desserts - hand-rolled mint patties, vanilla mini cupcakes glistening in white sprinkles and homemade marshmallows!

The past few Saturdays we have had the pleasure of hosting Denver Gourmet's Tour du Chocolate. This gourmet food tour led by Chelly Vitry is a behind the scenes view of what and how us local foodies do what we do. Chelly's clients get to meet Will at Wen Chocolates and learn about his Prize Winning Truffles, watch Kristen from Little Man Ice Cream make her premium Ice Cream and Frost Chocolate Cupcakes at Living the Sweet Life.
